For National Heritage Week we decided to visit the Kinver Rock Houses. We prepared for our visit with some research into the area. We then spent an engaging morning exploring the rock houses and learning about modern local history. Afterwards we enjoyed a long, leisurely nature walk in the surrounding countryside where we chatted to other people on the trails, discussed erosion, plant and animal life and even tried our hand at foraging. By the end of the day we were exhausted but filled with ideas for more exciting days out.
